Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Wet Your Palettes experience like?

In a relaxed group setting, a local artist will guide you through replicating the nights featured painting step-by-step. You will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with your friends, and to meet new ones! This class is about individual expression – it is fail-proof! You will leave with your custom painting, that is uniquely yours. Classes are 2 hours long.

Do I need to have experience with painting to be a success?

No experience is required! Our artists work with a step-by-step technique so that anyone can replicate the work.

Do I have to pay in advance?

To book a private party, you must pay a deposit in advance and your balance is due before your class starts.

What time do I need to arrive?

We suggest you arrive in the studio at least 15 minutes prior to the session start time in order to set up and grab a seat. Please allow ample time for parking. In the event that you are more than 15 minutes late for your session, you will be asked to reschedule. Reschedules of this nature can only be made the day of the originally purchased session in order to avoid seat forfeiture.

Is there reserved seating?

There is no reserved seating. If you are coming with a group and would like to sit together, we suggest you arrive early.

What equipment is provided to the customer?

We will provide you with an easel, a 16×20 canvas, paint, paintbrushes, smock, and paper towels. We have wine openers available for your usage.

Can we bring food and drinks?

We do not serve or sell alcohol. However, you are welcome to bring your non-alocholic beverage or wine of choice to our evening sessions. Light snacks such as fruit, cheese, and crackers are also permitted. You will have a limited area of space for your food beverage choice, next to your easel. Identification will be verified to ensure that all attendees of these evening sessions are at least 21 years of age. You will be asked to sign a waiver if you plan to consume alcohol (click here to download waiver). We ask that you keep consumption to a one bottle per duo maximum.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages, other than wine (ie, beer, vodka, etc)?

Only wine is permitted.

How would you describe appropriate attire?

Although we provide smocks to protect your clothing, acrylic paint is not removable from clothing. We suggest that you not wear your favorite clothes. We are not responsible for garments that are damaged by paint spillage.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 48-hour cancellation notice. If you do not give a 48-hour cancellation notice you will lose your payment or gift certificate and the credit card will remain charged. If the 48-hour cancellation notice is provided, we will credit your reservation for another night. There will be no refunds issued.
